mercedes a class svice

does anyone know how much a full service on a Mercedes A class should be as I think the quote I have is a bit excesive

Start with your service history if any!This will guide you on what has to be done.In the absence of history the next due service either time or mileage travelled will be the guide.The service book will tell you what work needs to be done,based on which you can compare the actual cost between garages.

if its a Mercedes garage it will be very dear,
they have 2 service types A & B - 4 years ago they were £300 & 400 roughly.
took mine to an independant for £120. but that was some time ago as i said.

With all due respect, you must have known upon buying the mercedes A class that things such as MOT's are going to cost more than your average ford/vauxhall ect. It's quite unlikley that you will pay less than £200, although there's a slight chance of finding a garage willing to do it for a lower price, but then you've got the risk of a poor quailty job, therefore if I was you, I would go with the lowest quote you can get from a decent well known garage from which you can guarantee a 100% genuine job.
Please tell me (plus others if interested) what prices have you so far been quoted, and have you got any from well known companies?
