Hi, i am thinking of buying a throttle body with a 5th injector for a subaru impreza 2lt turbo, 1993, can anyone tell me what it actually does? Does it increase its performance?

You're better off with a custom ecu, EVC5 and a remap if you can or want to afford it. The idea of the 5th injector was to get extra fuel in when needed and still maintain accuracy with smaller injectors.
I had a Skyline GTR until recently. This ran a custom HKS ECU, EVC5 and a full remap, and upgraded HKS turbos. Nearly 500bhp at the wheels on dyno.

Rather than ask people on here, why not go to the dealer that your considering buying from and ask them for professional and more detailed advice.

If you do it like that then you are probs alot more likley to get
a)the answer/s you are looking for
b)you wont be given mis leading info which could result in you believing something totally diffrent to the original answer which your actually looking for
