Hi all, i have just sprayed my motorbike in metallic and put a few coats of clear laquer over to protect it and give it a shine, i have been using aerosol cans.
My question is, can i use T-cut on the laquer to 'flat' it off ?
I have used it on paint before and it really makes a difference but not sure if i can use it on clear laquer.
Also, how long do i need to wait before T-cutting ?
Thanks

you can,but it would be better to use a compound instead.

Thank you for your answers, i have tried compound before and it is a lot more course than t-cut so id rather spend longer polishing it for the better results.
Any ideas how long i need to wait for the laquer to cure filly before polishing ?.

Fully ! not filly.
i've got a 600 fazer and a cat called tigga. !! just thought i'de share that. oh and my wife calls me an aerosol.
i've seen some people using a drill mounted buffer, i don't know if that would be any good on laquer though.
good luck with the polishing.
