Anyone who has purchased a car from the above; can you tell me any good or bad stories. Thinking of buying a car from Motorpoint that has 3000 off the local dealers price, but I'm concerned about after sales or the honouring of manufacturers warranties. Would it be valid if bought from a car supermarket but taken to the local dealer for servicing/repairs etc?

Thanks in advance!

mdoo98, my problem is; are Motorpoint a franchised dealer or are they able to sell so cheaply because they import cars? If the latter would a british franchisee honour the warranty etc?

3000 does sound a lot, but Motorpoint can sell me a delivery mileage car for 10995 and the local dealer (with lots of haggling) wants for the same car 14000 list price is 15200.

I had a Fiat van from them a couple of years ago which was an Irish import. The dealer completed warranty work with no questions. From a UK dealer I would get two year manufacturers plus a third year limited dealer warranty, from Motorpoint you only have manufacturers 2 yr warranty.

Next vehicle will be motorpoint or jamjar.com

Had problems witn Motorpoint.

Brand new car was dirty had three paint chips and the manager was rude and uncooperative, In the end walked away and got a refund on the deposit

You get what you pay for - the service was shocking
