I'm thinking of getting a classic car, maybe start off with a classic mini or something small. Does anyone know of good insurers that would be recommended and roughly what premiums prices would be.

I understand about limited milages and stuff, would probably only drive around summer or nicer days too.

Thanks in advance.

We have a Middlebridge Scimitar and a Volkswagen Corrado. Both are insured with Classicline Insurance, Hinkley, Leicestershire who we have always found good to deal with. Our premium for the two this year was £350 with limited mileage and agreed valuations. Hope this helps.
It may be your best bet to join the "Mini Owners Club".

I have had my Spitfire with Footman James for 4 years. They have always come up with a good insurer.
Currently I am paying about £130 fully com. Agreed value of £5750.
Includes breakdown, road rage and continental travel. There is no mileage limit.

I have also heard that Peter Best is pleasing fellow Triumph club members.
