Entering Megane (1.4, 1999) Radio Code
8 Answers
Having disconnected the car battery, I now need to re-enter the radio code (which I have). Unfortunately, the display on the dash is not working and I can't see to do it this way. Is there another method that does not rely on the display panel? Thanks for any help.

If the display is on the radio it's sometimes made visible by turning on the radio and shining a light source on it at just the right angle.
If neither of those two apply then Renault codes start with 0000 so you know where you're starting from. Each click on the column mounted thumbwheel is one digit or each press of buttons 1 - 4 respectively will register one digit. To move between each of the four zeros consult your handbook.
Hope this helps.

My runabout is a 2000 Megane. Make sure you enter each one with that lower button on the stalk switch.
