Can anyone tell me how often a cambelt should be replaced on a Peugeot 206, 1.4 Manual, Petrol (Y reg 2001)?

I have looked in my service book and it gives no indication.

Thanks in advance

It will say in the service book, it just won't be called a cam belt, but more likely a timing belt.

And it should probably as a rule of thumb be replaced every 60,000, although do not use that as an excuse not to check the book!!!  Failing that your peugeot dealer service dept will be able to tell you...
