A question for the Ladies
Does anyone else out there feel that the tv/media isnt putting the same effort into providing women with something nice to look at on tv as they do for men? For example - (does anyone else find this irritating) the tv programme Des and Mel. Theres Des (has-been, knocking on the door of 70 I reckon, someone your Grandma would love) and then theres Mel (pretty young thing, probably only about 25, but not really any good at her job ). Presumably Mel is there as "eye candy" for the blokes, but what do us women get - are we expected to find Des attractive - (not really that should be about looks anyway, but if its not then why didnt they choose older women) How many times do you switch on the telly to watch a programme and theres an average looking bloke but with good tv skills, then theres a lovely looking girl with average tv skills. I think we're being a bit hard done by, girls.

As for Trinny and Tranny...sorry, "Susannah"...we blokes are left with that scrawny Trinny bird while you ladies get to see the ultra-butch "Susannah", proud owner of the most firmly chiselled chin this side of Dolph Lundgren. Of course, his insistence on wearing women's clothes might be a turn-off, unless you like chaps in touch with their sensitive sides.
What? Did I just blow a big secret?
Just for the record after ICEMANSAV comment, I dont actually watch any daytime telly, cant stand it, its was just that Des & Mel were are good example to prove my point. However, if there were some more fanciable blokes on tv, I may be forced to fight my three year old for the remote control rather than settling to watch the Fimbles.
