Sure, these utility vehicles are sporty but not in the way the marketing people would lead us to believe. I liken them more to heavyweight sports, i.e. truck racing and tractor pulling.

Well MarkRae, I don't believe it should be categorized as an SUV because frankly there is nothing sporty about my suburban. They tryo make it look that way with the new model but my 02 model is a great heavy duty farm truck and is very strong and a gas guzzler. I don't see how it can be seen as sporty at all.

Jd.....its a sports utility vehicle..not a sports car...its designed to aid your enjoyment of sports..ie towing a boat...horsebox etc..it wont compete with a Audi R8 :-)
