Does anybody if it is a legal requirement to have a post code on the bottom of your car. no. plate ?
I got several new car no.plates made & fitted by a car dealer recently and they have the name of the dealer and his post code on both plates.
I was going to remove them and get new ones fitted with a small saying at the bottom of the no. plate... is this legal ?
Any help please ?

post code & dealer is a legal requirement as far as i am aware, nothing else apart from the BS stamp. Hence why dealers use plinths to mount the plates which allows them to put there web site address underneath.
