Last night I was looking for somewhere to park for a short while as I was waiting to collect someone. I pulled into a car park at a local country park, realised you had to pay and I had no change, so turned round and drove straight out again, probably about 30 seconds in total. However there was a camera system in use, but no barriers/tickets. The company Paid Parking Company manage the car park, but what I need to know is will they charge me for entering the car park and leaving without paying as it will be seen on their cameras - although presumably they will have the time recorded. Problem is I was skiving from work and in the works car, and should have been somewhere else at the time(!) The ticket if one is issued will be sent to my boss, so I could be in big do do! I realise I could probably appeal the charge if one is made but just wondered if anyone knew how this works.
Highly unlikely that your boss will be sent out a ticket as the cameras are probably there to deter vandalism of the paying machine devices and car park areas.....as you didnt turn off your your engine and went straight back out.... I would'nt worry. x
p.s Did you spot me hiding behind that big oak tree....problem was there's no doggers in the afternoon.......drat drat and double drat!!
LOL, thats why I drove out again in case you recognised me! Just been googling this company and found a very useful forum that basically tells you to ignore any notices/letters/threats from this company anyway, as they have no rights to demand any payment.
Tut,tut!...skiving off work in the works car using works fuel? Shame and double shame....you should be flogged for stealing from the nice man who has given you a job in this virtually jobless world....go straight round there and confess your sin before your sins find you out.......Heh Heh!
