Obtain a slim long magnet that would enter the plug port & hope for the best. You've said that you have changed the plugs Tops!!! you must have taken the coils out to replace them??? The coil packs are made of a Carbon like compound & is very easily damaged. If there signs of cracking / damage, replace it. going back to the bolts, as soon as you have removed the plugs, put a rag into the port entrance.
To add, if the worst happens & you DO drop a bolt down the port, DO NOT TURN THE ENGINE.
Question Author
i always have bolts well away before taking coils out, yes a few had crack and with the thin layer of metal that goes round where the bolt goes through on coils were buckled
Replace the pack Tops, there is a chance that it is tracking, & not getting the full spark, look on EBay but ask the seller if its 100% crack free before purchase.
To add, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE BOLTS when replacing them.
Question Author
true, i asked one of them if it is in good condition, and obviously for a deal on 6 of them, the last time i tightened them i couldn't tell how tight they were as i had a make shift tool, i have another post, do you know where i can find engine number or a code of any sort to tell me what engine is in my car
When you re/tighten the 12 bolts, do not use excessive force, just nip them up accordingly.
Question Author
ok, i will do that, i always was afraid to leave them loose, but i give it a shot
