Your Log book Tops.
Under the inlet manifold.
Look at the 2nd page Vehicle details, 1/2 way down on the left of the page.

i meant as in i wanted to see if my engine was ever changed, under the inlet, WHY, could they not have put it on the top of the engine
How do you intend to check this in such an Inaccessible area Chuck?
It has to be on the block because the block is the main part that's counted as the engine. you can fit a new head and it doesn't count as a new engine.
You are talking about a quality car here Tops.

im just curious as to how it is 200hp, so now im afraid that what if im getting the wrong spark plugs or other parts that are on their way
TWR... I don't intend to check it, I was just answering the question of where the engine number is on a M52 engine, which isn't on a bit of paper BTW!
200HP???

More like just under 170 for a 323.
Question Author
that's why i think engine has been changed, because it is 200 hp
How do you know it's 200hp? have you had it on a calibrated dyno?

200hp could be a 325 or a 328 with a remap or a badly tuned 330.
Question Author
along with a compression test, the engine looks too fresh for a car with over 130k miles on it aswell
I must have a one off V5 then chuck, my engine's number is there in black & white.
