Does anyone know if there are any DAF trained mechanics left in Wirral or Cheshire or Merseyside UK? I use my DAF on a daily basis and it would be good to know that experienced mechanical backup is available nearby if neccessary

They have probably all retired!

Mind you they are probably pretty simple, so any good mechanic should be able to cope - if he can get the parts.
