Should motorists be charged for using existing toll free roads?

Surely nobody would object to paying a toll on newly built roads but do you believe they should be levied on existing trunk roads which in the past have been toll free?

Don't worry MT is acting like a tranvestite. He needs to go to Specsavers.
The "new road round Birmingham" is hardly new, it's been there for years.

It's the Dartford crossing I object to - the toll was only supposed to be in place until they'd paid for the bridge. Yeah, right.
I'm sure we are all Izzed off with it Pdj, they knock us for all they can, The bridge was not there last last time I was driving Boxy I used the Woolwich Ferry, I could never find that duty free shop on the bloody thing! regards the HGVs coming in from abroad why the hell is it taking until 2015 before they start charging them? if fuel goes up we pay instantly.
