my car tax reduced by swapping to a smaller engine, only £74.25 for 6 months now instead of £121 or so with the vauxhall, my insurance company give free AA breakdown cover and it's cheaper to go fully comp for some reason, I also collect nectar points and texaco stars, the nectar points i collect on ebay really add up and I've managed to get about £10 free petrol from sainsburys in the last 3 months, i also use my tesco vouchers for petrol, i had a £5 texaco voucher this month too but they take along time to add up to 500.
My car sailed through it's M.O.T. which cost £40 which is cheaper than some places.
