Abs Light

My abs warning light on my 7 year old clio is coming on but only when on the motorway ay high speed, why is this, doesnt come on otherwise and goes off when restart engine and drive at 30/40 mph

ABS sensor ring is dirty, damaged or loose. A check on the Renault garage diagnostic computer will say which one but for a price.
A decent independent garage will pop the wheels off and have a look !
