Bike Tyres

Has anyone tried the puncture proof Tannus tyres, are they worth the outlay . I use my hybrid bike for around town cycling.

Whilst I have no experience of solid tyres I do recall some years back a friend discussing their experience with some, saying they were OK but the ride was less comfortable. No idea if today's solid tyres are better at smoothing a ride out.
