Relating specifically to insurance the insurers and the policyholder are parties one and two (it doesn't matter which way round). Anybody else (usually somebody involved in an accident with the policyholder) is a third party. You have "Third Party" insurance to cover you against claims for injuries or damages from these Third Parties.
