What is engine bore? I have mainly heard it in relation to karting engines, but anyone know what it is?

The bore is the width of the cylinder in which the piston moves.
Very close Grunty, it is the cylinder that the piston moves in, and it can be enlarged which is called a rebore when the engine gets worn out and smokes a lot, then you will need a larger set of piston rings or a compleat rebuild.
