Car Parked Outside My House

There's been a car parked outside my house for over 10 days.

On my street, all the cars are parked so, but they come and go throughout the day, when people go to work and return. This car hasn't moved at all which is unusual.

Should I go and report it to the police station which is just down the road or just wait?

I would hardly call 10 days an abandonment. Maybe it's been parked outside a relative's house for safekeeping while the owners are on holiday.
Just... Oh dear, Baldric didn't read/see Tonyav's post, that's all.
That's my thinking, Quiz.
no, it doesn't sound abandoned to me, could just be someone on a fortnight's holiday. On the face of it, it's odd to leave your car outside someone else's house, though.
Like someone else says it could be a friend/relatives house.
As others have suggested, it might simply be a case of a family member of one of your neighbours saying "We'll drive to your house and leave our car there. Then we can all go together, in your car, to the airport and share the cost of parking just one car, rather than two". (If, upon their arrival, there was no free space immediately outside the home of the relevant neighbour, they would have simply parked in the nearest free space - which just happened to be outside your house).

However it only takes a few moments for the Old Bill to find out who the registered owner is, and to phone them, (as in my example above) so it could still be worth mentioning it to them.

Popped into the Police Station late this afternoon and reported the car. The policeman said that a few cars had been reported around where I live, and they were all belonging to a chap who lives not far away and who deals in secondhand cars, as a sideline.

He can't park them where he lives in the town because there are parking restrictions. There aren't any on my street.

I checked the car out and it's tax runs out on June 1st and MOT on July 7th.

As was discussed, he said that there is not a lot he can do, but a "word" will be had.
Let us know if the nice chap/cowboy or whatever shifts it!
