Sold Private Number Plate

We have just sold a private number plate (which is currently on a V778) What is the next step please, I can’t make head nor tail of the DVLA website !! TIA

You either need to sign and date sections 1 & 6 of the V778 and give it to the buyer (using a 'signed for' service if you're posting it) or simply provide him with the certificate number so that he can then use the online service here to assign the plate to his vehicle:
