Because of unexpected circumstances I'll probably leave UK with my car on foreign plates after six months after entering the country.
I do not drive car often. Most of the time car is parked outside on calm street where parking is for free. I don't think that police or anybody else noticed my car or mind it.
Is there any chance getting into trouble when I'm going to leave UK 8 months after entering country with that car?

Foreign-registered vehicles being used illegally on Britain’s roads are now being seized by some police forces that have DVLA’s devolved powers. By law DVLA can give police the authority, under devolved powers, to remove untaxed vehicles.

I don't know the law in this area, but based on tonyav's response, why not speak to the DVLA and offer to tax your vehicle if that is all that matters to the authorities ?
Oh, another option is simply to go across to France and then back again - if that is something you can do. That might be cheaper than taxing the car if they insist on full importation.
