....Sweden until the 70s....I think it's about 25% of countries are driving on the left.

Presumably left side drivers and right side ones will evolve slightly differently, as it must change your whole outlook on the world.

Currently 1/4 of the world drive on the left - 74 countries (4 billion drive on the right, 2 billion drive on the left).
