Hello, Great British public
I've installed some washer nozzles from Poundland that I can switch on to glow blue at night. At 37 and a half I know I am the kiddie, but are they legal or could I be impersonating the Police?

If they show blue to the front, rear or sides of the vehicle then they are not street legal.

the emergency services dont have blue washer nozzles, they have blue sirens.

I do not believe that the colour of the sirens used by the emergency services is of any relevance ;-)
well, I do. the nozzles are blue, he mentions "impersonating the police", where I come from the Police are an emergency service...with blue lights. Come on Kempie, you know all of this! ;-) Only kidding!

That's fine, now you have corrected yourself and mentioned blue lights instead of blue sirens...

You will certainly be impersonating a *******, but, unfortunately, this is not yet illegal.

That's n0bhead. Jeez, why make a perfectly innocuous insult seem much worse?!
just put em on, all the little boy racers have them round here and the police dont seem to bother them, even if they do they will only tell you to turn them off.
They are indeed illegal and it is an offence as it will be charged if necessary as impersonating a police vehicle and causing an undue distraction for other drivers.

Thats worse case scenario, really they dont seem to care as many many people have them.

No one is really that bothered and chances are they would say ..

" uh take them off. Use them off of the road only you have been warned ... "
my bad kempie! I take it back...its blue lights, not sirens. Calvesy unless you wanna impersonate a boy racing chav, I would not bother purchasing them.

lol spaced, wa sgonna say that but thought i should keep it to myself !

No harm, no foul.
Poundland? Poundland? You cheapskate sir at 37.5! You could have at least said you got them from some reputable chavmobile supplier such as Halfords or Charlie Browns, but nay, you had to lower the tone of this thread and admit to Poundland.

Thank you all for your imformed opinions. I shall wait until the filth takes an interest then illuminate them no more. Until then, I am the Chav!
