Hi all,

I received quite significant burns as a result of an IPL laser appointment a week and a half ago.

The clinic owner has basically ignored me and I've consulted my doctors and received treatment and advice etc.

I'm investigating options available to me, one of which is the legal route.

Has anyone any experience with using them? What was that experience like? Any advice?

Some of them will only take you in if you've had to spend time in hospital I believe. No personal experience. Some people have legal advice includef on their home insurance. Worth looking
Get the facts before you sign anything. I did look into it a few years ago. What I found then is that many (maybe all) of them require you to take out, and pay for, an insurance policy that will cover their fees if you lose so either way they get paid. If you win you have to win enough to cover their fees plus the cost of the policy, plus any other expenses you may have had, before you see a penny. And of course if the defendant has no money or suitable insurance, you won't see a penny anyway.
