Hiya

I bought my boyfriend a driving experience last crimbo. It was Ferrari V's Porsche.

He loved it, and i would like to get him another adventure experience, Maybe stay away from driving, unless there is a very good one, that is not in the same line as last years.

Has anyone done one and would recommend it.

Thanks

On the dirinvg side, I had a corporate day (so I have no idea of costs) at Palmer race course near Bedford - would highly recommend it as unlike a lot of other experiences, the instructors actively encourage you to go faster, break later and take the speedo up to the red line as often as possible.

We drove several cars from Caterhams to Palmer Jaguars

I went on a Caterham day to Silverstone. I would recommend it to anyone who likes their cars!

I know it's driving but I can recommend the landrover offroad 1 day courses

Especially good this time of year

Restarting a stalled car is a whole new can of beans when you're 30 feet up a 45 degree slope and can see nothing but sky!

They have centres all around the country

I've seen skydiving days advertised, and hot air balloon trips.

Totally not driving - how about birds of prey ? There are quite a few decent places about and falconers are devoted to their birds, so you should get a good "hands on day". You get to know, communicate with, weigh, examine, handle, feed, fly and hunt with anything from a Harris Hawk to an Eagle Owl. I've done quite a few of these courses and they can range from "never done anything like it" to "fairly advanced, I'm ready to own one".
see how good your boyfriends skills are book him a days experience driving an articulated truck gauranteed afterwards he will never complain about your reversing again
look on the red letter days site - brilliant!!!

Skydiving is a great choice, why not go for a weekend in Spain, this way you get to have some sunshine too!

Skydive experiences are much cheaper in Spain (half the price) and don't book through the Experience websites, or Red Letter Days - the price will be 50% more than you need to pay!
