eau de perfume has up to 15% essence; eau de toilette up to 10%

parfum has about twice as much concentration of the fragrance oil & the scent lasts longer on the skin.

I think the difference is the concentration which equates to how long it works for each day and how much you need to use.

I always thought that eau de perfume was for your face and eau de toilette was for your genitals .

Seriously.
Eu de parfume lasts between 8-10hrs
Wheras eu de toilette only lasts about 3-4hrs.
Also the parfum is usually more expensive.

Whilst shopping for Xmas prezzies a couple of weeks ago, I found out that male and female fragrances are the opposite to each other:
Female - the perfume is stronger than the eau de toilette.
Male - the eau de toilette is stronger than the aftershave.

Slightly confusing .... anyone any idea why the powers that be decided on this lol ??
