what do you mean,did you give him the address that he put on the ticket or did he make a mistake when writing down what you told him, in any case if the car is registered to you,i expect you will end up with it one day in the post.

the thing is,dont you now have to send off the money for the fine,if you leave it, by the time they rectify the problem the fine would have doubled or court proceeding might be put in place.its not worth the hassle is it?

could you not post back the letter saying return to sender wrong address?
yes he could,but then they will check dvla,get the right address and re send it.
Best to take it on the chin and pay up. There will be much more pain and mayve increased fines if they have to chase it up.
