Wanted to know if any one has recently passed their test, did you find it difficult or easy?
Did you pass first time? how did you fair with the new hazard perception test?
I am asking as I will be taking lessons soon i already have had quite a few lessons a year ago but had to take a break, i am very confident behind the wheel, until I come up against this new hazard perception, is it difficult as people make out, this seems to be my main concern just wanted some advice from newly passed drivers......Thanks in advance ;-)

I recently passed mine, well the beginning of December. I had already failed once and I was actually more nervous than the first time because I knew what i had failed on (reverse turn) so I was more determined not to do it again. I ended up only getting one minor, and that was because my intructor left the car in gear.
Not sure if you'd consider me 'newly' passed, I passed my practical in August, however, the fear/feelings still feel like it was yesterday!
I passed 3rd time - I took my first test nearly 6 years ago and then never sat in a drivers seat until I decided to take it up again in March. This time around practical was actually OK, I made a stupid and obvious mistake the 2nd time which failed me, but I'm 'glad' I failed on something really obvious than something questionable. As long as you've got your maneuvers (sp?) tackled and you're sensible, take things steadily rather than making any rash judgements etc you should be OK. It is all down to luck/nerves on the day.
As for hazard perception, I can't recommend getting a practice cd-rom enough. I bought BSMs (you don't need to learn with them to buy one, just go to a shop) and some of their clips on it were almost identical to the ones I had in the test. There are also a few sites on the web where you can subscribe and get access to a few clips too.
Good luck!
ps - Eurox - My instructor did that with me on one of my lessons, apparently it's a trick they 'play' to get you to ensure you always check you're in neutral.
