Bbc Quiz : Week 2
Good evening, all!
A pathetic start for me this week, with just ONE out of 7 in the grown-ups' quiz:
https:/
I didn't do a great deal better in the kids' quiz either! Just TWO out of five for me this time around:
https:/
There must be someone out there though whose brain is actually still functioning after the Christmas and New Year revelries. (Mine clearly isn't!). Is it you, I wonder?

Bailey has gone back to the vets and needs to have a heart scan before his operation, Puss Puss ate something he shouldn't and threw up all over my work mobile phone when I was on call, not a good thing to wake up to...Hope yours are behaving a little better .
Hi, Campbellking!
Well done on getting some decent scores this week!
I hope that everything goes well for Bailey.
I hope too that Puss Puss's stomach has now settled. (I know what it's like when a cat throws up somewhere inconvenient. The laptop I'm typing on now is a replacement for the one that Tablo threw up all over!).
My lot are all fine, thanks. I bought a new rug for my bedroom recently and Tablo thinks that it's the perfect place to sleep. Moonbeam now has a cat bed, which he loves, at the foot of my bed. Chequers continues to steal my office chair from me!
All the best.

One of the questions, I didn't answer but I was given the point before I could do so

Poor old sore paw Gobolino, I was sorting out his tea on the worktop next to the cooker where I had switched on a ring to use for humans' tea, when he jumped up putting one paw on the red hot ring. I have held his paw in cold water which he doesn't like at all.
Hope you've been caring for your charges better than me this week 😃
Good Evening, Chris!
My scores tonight are
5/7, 3/5
Feels like we are all getting back to normal, routine wise, after the Christmas celebrations. Wrapped up warm yesterday and took my baby granddaughter out for a lovely walk in her pram, along with my grandpup of course. Both behaved beautifully. It was frosty, but the sunshine was wonderful.
Then just found out today that I have won £50 in a magazine competition, so not a bad start to the year.
Wishing you and the kitties a wonderful week ahead :-)
Good scores, as always, Lie-in King! Well done!
Good evening, Jourdain2! Yes, it is a bit nippy outside, isn't it? I'm so pleased though that, after a decade of largely living outdoors, my darling little Moonbeam has now become an indoor cat most of the time. (It's lovely having him sleep a the foot of my bed, even if it does limit the space that's left for me!).
I'm glad that Mr J2 might be home soon - but remember to get all of your toy boys to vacate the premises first 😊
Hi, Haras2!
Well done on hammering me in the quizzes this week!
I hope that Gobolino will forgive your carelessness (and what, no doubt, he'll view as your cruelty when you held his paw under the tap).
As stated above (2051), my lot are all fine. I've just cooked some sausages for the first time in years. (I'm not usually a 'sausage person'). Chequers absolutely demanded his share which, of course, he got!
Have a good week!
