I have a 2001 peugeot 206 1.9 diesel which has a problem starting my glow plug light does not always come on which prevents me from starting my car. It does not matter whether my engine is hot or cold, if the light does not come on it will not start. Can anyone help?

I had a similar problem with my '95 Rover, which also has a Peugeot engine. When I took it to the auto electricians, I was told that the wiring was shorting, causing the power to be drawn away from the actual heaters. So even though the coil light was illuminated, it was not always doing the job.

Don't mean to worry you hear, but he said that he was surprised it didn't go on fire, so you might want to get it checked out quick smart !
