cutting out

my friend sgot a m reg 2lt TD estate when he slows down to about 5mph it cuts out but starts again and drives fine until he slows down again any ideas what the cause could be

i dont even try anymore. if they cant tell you the basics what chance they understand the answer?

The idle speed is probably too slow or it has an air leak into the fuel system or a faulty fuel pump. Can't you lot read, it's a Sgota!
