RAV4 or CRv?

I want to trade in my mini cooper and love the look of the rav4 and crv...i.e. I want lots of inside space for kids as the mini doesn't cut it with 2 doors. I won't be going off road...which is better or is their another alternative?

I would suggest you look at a Subaru Forrester, but of your choice then I would go for the Toyota. The Rav4 have great engines and handle well, plus the usual Toyota strengths of great build quality and good warranties. The Honda is well built too, of course, as all Hondas are, but it is a far more stodgy drive than the Rav4.

I have driven the HRV which is similar to the CRV, it was great fun.

As Mr Impreza states both have good japanese quality and on that basis i would solely go with personal aesthetics.
