dodgy garage

today i took my car in for mot it needed budget tyre and brake hose...i now have my mot certificate but this mornin my gears worked fine...i go and pick my car up and i cant even put it into gear...i had to put it into gear before i even started up my car leaving the clutch in and the gears are so stiff...has this garage tampered with my car....and if they have what a cheek of doing something that is so obvious...he mentioned that that my gears were stiff before i got in it and i asked him how much he said 160 pounds ive been had havent i?? and yet i bbenn going to that garage for last 7 years and only now have i had a problem with him..

thankyou for your reply...im taking it to another garage...do you think my car should of passed its mot even though my gears dont work on the mot certificate it says 'advisory noticed issued ...none' if my gears didnt work when in the mot then it would of been noticed by the tester and would of been noted what you think?
