Do i need a new clutch?

I have a peugeot 206 and when im sitting stationary theres a rattle coming from the front of my car is it my clutch?

there are no less than a hundred different things a rattle could be, a clutch is more of a driveability issue.

does the rattle go away when you press in the clutch pedal ? if so it's worn spigot shaft bearings in the gearbox which are making the noise
