ford mondeo oil

I have an M reg 2.5 Mondeo and i vaguely remember being told by the previous owner that a certain type of engine oil is preferred. Does anyone know what type that may be ?

The oil listed for this car is a 5w 30 Semi Synthetic

Castrol (Magnatec) 5.5 Litres

Thank you for answering. Castrol Magnatec, that sounds expensive. Don't you mean castor oil, sounds much cheaper. I'd better go and get some, thanks again
