i recently put a new e.r.g valve in my vectra, but light is still on,any ideas how to put light out

Do you know what the fault code was before you replaced the valve ?

What made you replace the egr valve ?

Have you had the ECU memory read for fault codes ?

disconnect your battery 5-10 min this will clear codes, reconnect battery if light comes on e.g.r. wasn't your issue. i would suggest doing a scan.
