Someone drove into the back of my car yesterday and has slightly dislodged the back bumper, I'm due to have the car's MOT on thursday, will this cause it to fail?

In short - no.
unless it's caused any sharp edges

It depends on how secure it is i.e. if it is deemed that it could possibly fall off due to damaged mountings then yes it could fail.

My Panda once got a sharp one up the rear, bending bumper and slightly buckling the boot floor and door sill, but it passes MOT's always. MOT man says as long as bumper is secure with no dangerous edges, and boot distortion hasn't upset the alighnment of the rear wheels noticeably, then it will pass.
