im looking to buy a car with high mileage!! its had a new cambelt fitted and its got some or full sevice history with it!! the mileage is 156000 on a t reg.... im looking to pay �570 for it..... is it worth buying a car with such high mileage???? i dont do that many miles myself i stay local.... its a ford fiesta

That's a bit of a knee jerk reaction Roaldo

When you're looking at cars at that end of the spectrum things like length of MOT and service history make a big difference.

It also makes a bit of a difference where you are - if you're somewhere like London there's going to be dozens of cars like this which makes it a lot cheaper than if you're out in the sticks a bit more.

For that money though I'd expect a full years MOT possibly some tax thrown in and a history of service that makes me think I won't be at a garage in the next 2 weeks.
My T-reg car (a Vauxhall Vectra) has got similar mileage, and knowing that it's been serviced regularly I'd be happy to pay that much for it.
