Protect further rust damage to car ?

Just bought a second hand Ford fiesta 1.25LX 1997 car. I am generaly very happy with the car as it had full service history and the visible part of car has no rust problems. However a closer examination of the underside of car revealed severe rust attack including passenger side sill. How can protect car from further being eaten by rust and possible MOT failures.

waxoyl should do the trick just get some from any motor spares or get a local bodyshop to give it a blast for u
