If the brake warning light keeps flashing with the handbrake off when driving could the handbrake switch be the problem.The brake fluid level is fine.The car is a 1996 escort mexico 1.6, Rear brakes are drums.

Thought id try and help, it maybe that the handbrake cable needs tightening. Thats what cured mine!!
