faulty gearbox

my 02 ford galaxy diesel automatic will not change gear unless the engine has warmed up for at least 10 minutes. it has had a diognostic test at main dealer. nothing showed as a fault. it is now at a gearbox specialist. they have had it 10 days and cannot find why it wont work. help please.

sounds like you need to have the gearbox pan filter removed and cleaned,and change the transmission fluid..i did that on my bmw 540i..and it drives like its a new gearbox...worth a try,don`t you think?
