Hi Visability vests.

Not a question, but as Hi-vis vests are compulsory for every car occupant on continental motorways, I think the UK will soon follow suit - and it will have my backing. Just to let you know that these vests are now on sale at pound shops. (Yes, for one pound!)

Agreed, we had to get a set {5 'cos Spain say one for each POTENTIAL occupant!} as we're doing a % country rally next week & they fit under the seat taking up no room at all. I,ve just bought another set for the other car as I think they are such a good idea.

Think about it Gef, you do not wear them when your driving, only if you get out if your car breaks down.

i have 5 hi vis coatesin my car they are not cheap,they r good,luckily i got mine from working on the roads,1 for me 1 for R lass and 1 for each kid,bit big for kids but if anything should happen god forbid,at least they are visable and will keep warm,worth getting vests for every 1 and putting them in (if u have 1)spare wheel well

Madman. As I said in my original post, these vests cost only �1 each in Poundland shops and other similar outlets.

I have been in the situation Toureman describes- flat tyre on offside wheel on a motorway at night. Not funny, even you decide to wait for the AA.
