can anyone tell me what othere engines i can fit in a rover 216 ie can i go down to a 214 engine cheers]

You can go down to a 214, with a few miner adjustment'sto the wiring in the engine bay. I advise not to, because the 214 has a cylinderhead problem's with them. Plus you with have to tell the insurance company and let the D.V.L.A know you have changed engine size. Just change the car.
