There is no way of disabling the immobiliser on these as the circuitry is part of the main engine/fuel ecu. The immobiliser should come on automatically after about 30-40 seconds after taking the key out of the ignition, or when you lock the car. If it isn't, try all four of the door switches as these act as sensors for the alarm as well as turning your interior light on and off. They get dirt and corrosion in them. WD40 should do it. New switches are about �10 each. If not, it could be the ECU. Have you tried a new battery in your remote key fob?
