Can anyone tell me approximately how much (as a %) an insurance premium goes up after you have claimed on it. Thanks.

Mine went up by �50 (18%) but that's coz i changed companies. The company i claimed from wanted to charge me around �200 (75%) more the next year, although this figure may depend on the value of the claim. Try shopping around the following year...it's worth it!

The claim was for my sons car �1000 and another car about �3000. I will shop around, thanks.
Depends how many years no claims bonus you had beforehand.
claim was it fault or none fault ? we were hit with loading 100 quid (or what they call it) even though it was none fault , however if my wife has 3 accidents in 2 years all none fault I think the insurance were right.
