try quinn direct,or cis insurance.
I think its same the country over, everybodies being penalised on insurance and even more so since the boy racer days of the 90`s.
My first car I got when I passed my test at 17 way back in 1987 was a y reg 528 bm and the premium was just under 700 quid, bargain or what. I`m payin just under that now with full no claims, clean licence on a golf diesel. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
why dont you try one of those bonus accelerator ones, or putting him on yours, but go with a company that allows him to build up his own no claims
Try Confused.com rambo 500. You just fill out one form then they supply you with a list of insurers in order of cost and you choose the deal you like.

I have been to them for the last two years. I don't know who Teash is insured with though. I have a petrol Golf 1.3 and I have just insured that for 119 pounds for the year. I'm 44 and that fully comp. with full no claims and 100 pounds excess. The cheapest quote was 112 pounds. Why 700 pounds Teash?
If i was you the i would call adrian Flux Insurance broker. this caters for young drivers and their cars. I got my insurance through them and it was cheaper than any other quote by about 300.

Its always worht a go. Go to their website. you enter your details and they will cal you so you dont have to waste your bill
I would try Bell.com. They brilliant for people with no years NCB. I had an L-reg Fiesta and the insurance was 1080 on Third Party.

Also try Virgin Car Insurance. They add no interest if you pay monthly.
