Plumbing crash course???
2 Answers
Hi, I'm seriously considering a 'career changer' crash course in plumbing. I should come away a qualified plumber with:
City & Guilds 6022 Copper Tube Installation.
City & Guilds 6032 Sanitarywear Allocation, Installation, Maintenance & Design qualifications.
Water Regulations and Bylaws 1999 competency card issued by BPEC.
But it'll cost 3,500 plus 700 in expenses. Is this all the qualifications I need as a plumber and does this course sound like a good idea to you?
Thanks

To be qualified you need C&G 6129 and 6089.
4,200 is a lot of money to pay when all it will give you is sheer confidence. Your better off getting some work experience in with a local plumber and picking up the trade that way as opposed to splashing out on all that money.
