12 points on licence
my husband has 6 points on licence, a few weeks ago got a letter through with fine and 3 points for going through red light. That will take him to 9 points, not sent this payment off yet for the red light. Then yesturday got another letter for speeding, which will mean another 3 points which will then take him to 12 points, so worried about him losing licence as uses a company van, and needs this for work. does any one know what will happen.

This is descretionary and a case can be pleaded.... but you have to show the loss of licence is exceptionally harsh. Loss of your job seldom works as people usually know if their work depends on the licence... if they know this the logic is they should have known not to risk loosing it. Sorry to say it, but 12 points in under two years doens't have my sympathy if he did speed and go through red lights... he has effectivly ignored previous 'warnings'
